A funny thing… God believes what you say! The further we go in this revival at World Revival Church, the more I realize that God is dealing with us on a trust level.
 
All those songs we’re singing, all those great prayer we’re praying… do we really mean it? God doesn’t have our suspicions. He just flat out believes what we’re saying and then starts acting like we’re going to follow through.
 
If you say “You’re all I need” then he believes you. If you tell him “You are my Lord” then he takes it at face value and starts acting like it. He trusts us!
 
Hmmm… and then the tables turn on us with the question: are we going to trust him?  
 
A lot of us are still trying to pass the money test. Will we trust him with our pocketbooks or hold out until we win the lottery - as if that’s going to affect our trust level! Churches are still trying to figure this out too, and I’ve got to say that if we made decisions based on finances at World Revival Church, then this would be a different church. There’s no way we could get all these testimonies of such dramatically changed lives if we were playing the money game.
 
So, I guess I’m pleading with you - and with pastors worldwide to start living what you’ve been telling God. If you’ve been telling him that he IS your provider, then break the power of money off your life so he can start trusting you with the true riches of changed lives.
 
God believes what we tell him. It’s a scary thing. And I guess that means he thinks we’re trusting him, too.
