Hello Friends,
Is it the most wonderful time of the year?
Well, of course it is, but so is every other time of the year, at least for me. Today we may celebrate that Jesus is born but the rest of the year I celebrate that Jesus is Lord. When Jesus is Lord, the entire year is wonderful.
I want to thank all of you for the hundreds of phone calls and letters thanking, encouraging and supporting the outpouring services at World Revival Church. The support and joy and the unity has been overwhelming. Today we need something or someone who can pull us all together and get us going in the same direction. Haven't we had enough of those people who call themselves our brothers and sisters in the Lord dividing us and tearing us apart?
Maybe that is why Christmas becomes such a wonderful time of the year. All of us are doing the same thing. We are all shopping and gathering with
family and friends. It is that time of year when wickedness gets pushed
aside because after all, it is Christmas. What is wickedness anyway? For
that matter, what is ungodliness. Both words are similar in meaning and can
be summed up in the lesson of the unjust judge.
There once was an unjust judge that had neither regard for God nor mankind. Therefore, he was more than unjust, he was wicked. He had no regard for God. He had no regard for mankind. Let us not be caught in the devil's trap this season or any season. Sure it is a wonderful time of the year, but it can be wonderful all year long if we will rid ourselves of wickedness, that is, having no regard for God and no regard for each other. Learn this lesson and you can have Christmas all year.
