Hello friends,

Our hearts are still breaking for the people of Burma and especially for the Karen tribe. We along with Kathy's parents Bob and Jeanne Moffatt have supported this tribe for many years. We have not only supported them financially, but have helped to send the Moffatt's many times to minister directly to the Karen tribe. A few years back we sent a team to build a church for these wonderful people. In case you don't know who the Karen people are, let me refer to a just released movie on DVD... I can't recommend it, because I have not seen it. It is about Rambo going into Burma to save some missionaries to the Karen tribe. It sounds pretty interesting, but it is rated R. RATS!

These dear people of the Karen tribe were hit the hardest of all. We received an update just today and learned that most of the children under the age of 5 are already dead. There is little water and much disease. Still the government will not let aid from other countries help. We can help because we send money directly to one of the leaders of the Karen tribe. Our inside man is named Timothy and he is there right now trying to help with food, water and a medical team. He basically has what money we gave him and also some from a few other churches.
Today we contacted some of our ministry friends who have been abundantly prospered by the Lord. Our prayer is that they will decide to help, too.
