Well I spent a big chunk of the day making TV ads for Casting KC. We are hoping we can afford to put Casting KC ads on TV so everyone can know that we are expanding the Steve and Kathy Show to include some of the best talent in KC. I know it is a good idea, but still, what if we don't find any real talented people. Oh well, can't even think about that now.
Of course, we were really sadden by the news of the cyclone in Burma. Many of the people hardest hit are the people we have been reaching out to for fifteen years. Timothy Laklem, the man we have been supporting all these years is from that area and has worked closely with the Burmese government. He has been here in the U.S. but is getting on a plane for Burma any day now. He can get aid to the people who need it most. Timothy can bypass all the government red tape and get supplies to the people. Today Kathy spent the entire afternoon making commercials asking people to donate to help in the tragedy.
