Talk about being busy. The new book “My Absurd Religion” will launch next week while I am on the 700 club October 28th. That means the website myabsurdreligion.com has to be ready to launch too and be able to handle the hopefully many, many orders that come in that day through Amazon.com. Plus, I have been writing the next four Steve and Kathy Shows which we shoot this week. I wrote a total of 11 (hilarious?) skits in the last two weeks and was actually in two of them. Of course, I still have to keep our church services on track with 3 sermons a week. You know what, there is so much more that I am doing right now, that I think I will move on to something else, before this gets boring. All I can say is, it is all good and very promising. We will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
I guess most of us are ready to get the election over with already. Am I right. I have to do an absentee ballot and will be watching the election returns from Canada, eh. I always like to see a close election, but sometimes I get a bit concerned that we might be surprised with a landslide by one candidate. I hope not. No matter how it turns out, I hope both sides will be able to maintain their dignity.
What do you think about the economy? Do you think it will level out or are we in for hard times. All I can say is , I am glad I am not going to be president and have to inherit the economy and the overseas wars and the war on terror at home. Is it just me or does it feel like the world’s terrorists might just be waiting to see who wins before they make another move. Is it also just me or does it seem that one candidate might make terrorists more nervous than the other? I believe that one candidate if he wins, will actually increase the likelihood of a terror attack on our soil. In fact, I will be surprised (pleasantly, exuberantly, joyfully surprised) if an attack doesn’t occur on or towards America within the first year of one particular candidates presidency. Time will tell. Don’t forget to vote.
Talk soon,
P. Steve
