God wants to touch the world through His people but can’t do this if their whole goal is to relax and eventually live on some exotic beach. The #1 thing people mention in their letters to me is the preaching of the Word. The messages I preach don’t come to me by accident or because I am more special than other preachers. They come by hours and hours of studying and seeking the Spirit of God.

Moves of God start, then stop, when people want to do nothing. Wonder why revival started in Smithton and is continuing in the Kansas City Revival? Because, God found a people who are willing to do something for Him, not just when they are in the mood and feel like it.

So, where do you start to make a change. First, stop fanning flames of unforgiveness, fear, and doubts and get rid of spiritual timidity. You are what you are in God because you have been timid and haven’t fanned that flame. Start to fan the flame of God’s power in your life. Do whatever you can to get in close relationship with Him; listen to sermons in your car, pray, get in the Word, and worship Him. Do something for God and you will start to live out the destiny He has for you!
