Revival Awakens Dreams – Part One

One thing I always try to keep in my life is a sense of adventure! Without adventure and fun, life can often become monotonous and even boring. For example, I love to go boating on the lake with my family. While out there I had the thought, I wonder what it would be like to jump off this boat and dive into the water while going 45 miles an hour. Why not give it a try?

So, I first jumped off at a modest speed of 30 miles an hour. It was pretty exhilarating and hitting the water didn’t even seem all that painful. So, I tried again at 45 miles. Let me tell you, 15 miles an hour makes a huge difference. I jumped in, my neck snapped back and I learned a couple of big lessons. First, never recommend that anyone jump off a boat at 45 miles an hour. Secondly, I never would have known what it felt like if I didn’t try.

I don’t in anyway recommend for anyone to put himself or herself in life threatening situations. But, my point is to start living your dreams. I had a dream long ago that I was going to be a preacher. So, before I had people to preach to, I preached over and over again to myself in my head and never gave up. Eventually, it happened. Today, I preach to thousands and thousands of people who don’t just want to go to church and hear a “Reader’s Digest” message, but they want an encounter with the living God. This is a dream come true for me!
